17 year old Sherina dropped out of school after she had failed her primary seven exams. Sherina revealed that upon receiving her results, her parents mentioned that they wouldn’t be paying for her school fees to repeat primary seven. Upon dropping out of school in 2021, this exposed Sherina to defilement and teenage pregnancies.
Now a mother of a two weeks baby, Sherina is interested in returning to school in 2024 to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. In the meantime, Sherina is learning tailoring from a neighbor and hopes that this skill will enable earn some money to take care of her daughter and some requirements for herself.
